2

System validates and processes your request.

3

Payout Complete

Funds transferred to your account.

Pre-order & Early Access Sales

Pre-order and Early Access sales are not withdrawable until the content is officially released. Funds appear as "pending" in your dashboard and automatically move to "available balance" on release day.

Why Funds Are Held

This protects both creators and customers by ensuring funds are only released when content is delivered, preventing refund disputes and maintaining platform trust.

Payout Statuses

When you request a withdrawal, the payout moves through the following statuses:

COMPLETED

Funds have been successfully transferred to your account.

PENDING

Your withdrawal request is being processed by the payment provider.

CANCELLED

The payout was cancelled, either by you or due to a processing issue. Funds return to your available balance.

Collaborator Revenue Splits

Revenue from collaborations is tracked separately from your solo releases. Vwaza automatically handles revenue splits with collaborators based on your agreements, and each collaborator's share is calculated independently. The same 80/20 platform split applies before collaborator shares are divided.

Automatic Split Calculation

  • Pre-defined percentage splits
  • Per-content or global agreements
  • Real-time split tracking
  • Detailed breakdown reports

Collaborator Management

  • Add/remove collaborators
  • Set custom split percentages
  • Track individual earnings
  • Handle disbursements automatically

Establish Agreements Early

Set up collaborator agreements before content release to ensure proper revenue distribution. Changes to splits only affect future sales, not past transactions.

Common Questions

Why don't I see my sales immediately?

Sales typically process within minutes, but during high traffic or payment delays, it may take up to 24 hours.

How are currency conversions handled?

Vwaza supports multiple currencies including USD, MWK, and others. Sales are recorded in the original purchase currency. Your dashboard can display totals in your preferred currency using the exchange rate at time of purchase.

What happens with collaborator sales?

Revenue from collaborations is tracked separately in your dashboard. Sales are attributed to the primary content owner, with revenue automatically split per your collaborator agreements after the 80/20 platform split is applied.

Can I refund a customer purchase?

Refunds are handled case-by-case. Contact support to process a refund, which will be deducted from your earnings.
