Username vs Stage Name
Your username and your stage name (display name) are two different things.
Username
- Must be unique - no two accounts can share a username
- Used for your profile URL and login
- Set during signup and can be changed in settings
- If the username you want is taken, choose a variation
Stage Name / Display Name
- Does not need to be unique - multiple artists can share the same stage name
- This is the name fans see on your releases and profile
- Set when you create or edit your artist profile in Studio
- Use your real stage name even if another artist has the same one
Same stage name as another artist?
