Crash Reporting & Diagnostics

Our mobile and TV apps (Vwaza Music, Vwaza Studio, Vwaza TV and Vwaza Podcasts) use Sentry to automatically collect crash and stability reports so we can detect, diagnose, and fix bugs that affect your experience. Sentry is provided by Functional Software, Inc. and is governed by Sentry's privacy practices in addition to this policy.

What Crash Reports Include

Stack trace of the crash and the line of code where it happened
Device model, operating system, and app version
Approximate crash location (e.g. screen or feature in use)
Your Vwaza account ID, so we can correlate crashes with reports you submit to support
Logs you have triggered shortly before the crash (no message contents)

What We Do NOT Send

Your name, email, password, or payment information
Music files, listening history, or playlists
Messages, search queries, or content you create or upload
Precise GPS location

Crash reports are sent to Sentry's servers in the European Union (Germany), either straight away or the next time you open the app after a crash. We use this data solely to improve app stability and quality.

Crash reports from our development and pre-release test builds are labelled as test data and kept separate from reports sent by the public, store-released versions of the apps.

If you would like us to delete the crash reports associated with your account, contact us at privacy@vwaza.com with your account email and we will delete them from Sentry on your behalf.

International Transfers

We are based in Malawi and the information we collect is governed by Malawian law. By accessing or using our Platform or otherwise providing information to us, you consent to the processing and transfer of information in and to Malawi and other countries.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
