How to Buy Music

Purchase singles and albums directly from the artists you love. Every sale puts money in artists' pockets - no complex streaming royalties, just transparent, fair compensation.

Direct Sales Only

Vwaza does not do paid streams. Artists earn through direct sales only. When you buy music on Vwaza, 80% of the sale goes straight to the artist. No middlemen, no opaque royalty calculations.

Why Direct Sales Matter

Artists Earn More on Vwaza

Unlike streaming platforms where artists earn fractions of a cent per play, Vwaza artists earn 80% of every sale. The platform takes a 20% fee. That is it.

Transparent Earnings

No complex streaming royalty calculations. Artists see exactly what they earn per transaction.

Artists Set Their Own Prices

Artists decide what their music is worth. No platform-imposed pricing.

Fans Directly Support Artists

Every purchase goes directly to the artist you love. Your money has a clear, visible impact.

80/20 Revenue Split

Artists keep 80% of every sale. The 20% platform fee covers infrastructure, payment processing, and operations.

Where to Buy

Web

iOS App

Android App

Apple Devices

Purchasing Not Available on iOS

Due to Apple's App Store guidelines, in-app purchases of music are not available on iOS devices (iPhone and iPad). This is a platform restriction, not a Vwaza limitation. To buy music, use the Vwaza web app or the Android app. Your purchases will be available to listen to on all your devices, including iOS, once bought.

Why can't I buy on iOS?

Apple's App Store Review Guidelines restrict apps from offering digital content purchases outside of Apple's own in-app purchase system. Since Vwaza pays artists 80% of each sale, using Apple's system (which takes up to 30%) would significantly reduce artist earnings. We choose to protect artist revenue.

  • Apple requires all digital content purchases to use their in-app purchase system
  • Apple's commission of up to 30% would drastically cut artist earnings
  • Purchase via music.vwaza.com or the Android app instead
  • All purchased music is fully accessible on iOS for listening

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens after I buy?

The music appears in your Purchases library immediately. You can stream it as many times as you want, on any device where you are logged in.

Can I buy individual tracks from an album?

No. Vwaza sells complete albums and singles. This ensures artists receive fair compensation for their complete works.

Is my payment information secure?

All payments are processed by industry-standard providers: Stripe, PayChangu, PawaPay, OneKhusa, and PayPal. Vwaza never stores your payment details.

What if my gift recipient does not have an account?

No problem. A temporary account is created for them automatically. They can claim their music using the redemption token sent to their email.

What is the difference between a pre-order and a pre-save?

A pre-order requires payment upfront and guarantees you get the music on release day. A pre-save is free and simply adds the release to your library when it goes live.
