Vwaza and Other Platforms
Vwaza is its own independent platform. It does not distribute to or depend on other music services.
Vwaza Is an Independent Platform
Vwaza is a standalone multimedia platform where artists sell music directly to fans. It is not a distributor, aggregator, or middleman. When you upload music to Vwaza, it lives on Vwaza and is sold to listeners on Vwaza. Your content is not pushed to any other service.
This means Vwaza operates completely independently from other streaming services. Uploading to Vwaza has no effect on your presence on those platforms, and vice versa.
What Vwaza Does Not Do
Vwaza does not distribute to other platforms
If you want your music on other streaming platforms, you still need a separate music distributor for that purpose. Vwaza and distributors serve different roles:
Music Distributors
- Push your music to streaming platforms
- You earn royalties per stream (fractions of a cent)
- They take a fee or percentage for distribution
- Your music is rented via streaming, not sold directly
Vwaza
- Your music lives on Vwaza and is sold directly to fans
- You earn 80% of every sale (real money per transaction)
- No distribution to other platforms
- Fans buy and own your music
Already on Other Platforms?
Yes, you can absolutely upload your music to Vwaza even if it is already available on other platforms through a distributor. Having your album on other streaming services does not prevent you from also selling it on Vwaza.
You can use Vwaza alongside other platforms
- Already distributed your music elsewhere? Upload the same album to Vwaza.
- On other streaming services? You can still sell on Vwaza.
- Using a distributor? Vwaza is completely separate.
- Your distribution agreements with other services are unaffected.

How Vwaza Is Different
Most music platforms pay artists through per-stream royalties, which typically amount to fractions of a cent per play. Vwaza works differently: fans pay to purchase your music, and you receive 80% of each sale. There is no streaming pool, no algorithmic payout calculation, and no middleman distributor.
Direct Sales
Fans buy your singles and albums. You earn real money from each transaction, not fractions of a cent from streams.
You Set the Price
Choose your own price for every release. There are no platform-imposed minimums or maximums.
80/20 Split
You keep 80% of every sale. The 20% platform fee covers processing, hosting, and delivery.
Common Questions
I already distributed my album elsewhere. Can I also upload it to Vwaza?
Yes. Vwaza is completely independent from every other distributor and platform. You can upload the same album to Vwaza and sell it directly to your fans. Your existing distribution is not affected in any way.
If I upload to Vwaza, will my music appear on other streaming or social media platforms?
No. Vwaza does not push content to any other platform. Your music stays on Vwaza. If you want your music on other streaming services or social media platforms, use a distributor that supports them.
Does uploading to Vwaza remove my music from other platforms?
No. What you do on Vwaza has no effect on other platforms. Your listings on other streaming services remain exactly as they are. Vwaza is a separate, independent platform.
Do I need a distributor to use Vwaza?
No. Vwaza is not a streaming aggregator that requires distribution. You upload directly to Vwaza, set your price, and sell to fans. No distributor needed, no middleman, no extra fees beyond the 20% platform fee on sales.
Can I use Vwaza and a distributor at the same time?
Yes. Many artists use both. A distributor gets your music onto streaming platforms while Vwaza gives you a direct sales channel where you keep 80% of each purchase. The two approaches complement each other.
