We provide a space for African artists to share their work while maintaining complete control over their art. Our platform includes Vwaza Music for streaming, Vwaza TV for video content, and Podcasts for audio storytelling.

Vwaza supports three main account types: 1) Solo Creator - Individual artists, musicians, and content creators 2) Group Member - Members of creator groups like bands, labels, or collectives 3) Fan - Music enthusiasts who follow artists and discover content Each account type has different permissions and features tailored to their needs.

You can sign up for a Vwaza account by clicking the 'Register' button and following the simple registration process. During signup, you'll choose your account type (Solo Creator, Group Member, or Fan) and complete your profile. It only takes a few minutes to create your account.

Creator Groups are organizational structures that allow multiple users to collaborate. There are six types: 1) Label - Record labels managing multiple artists 2) Publisher - Music publishing companies handling rights and royalties 3) Music Group - Bands and musical groups 4) Management - Artist management companies 5) Creative Collective - Collaborative creative teams 6) Custom - Flexible groups for unique needs Each group has Owners, Admins, and Members with different permission levels.

Labels can manage artist rosters, invite artists to join, plan and distribute releases, run marketing campaigns, view analytics across all signed artists, and handle basic contracts. Label admins have full control over the roster and can assign different roles to team members.

Publishers can register musical works with complete songwriter and publisher information, manage rights catalogs, track royalties and revenue, register with PRO societies (BMI, ASCAP, etc.), handle sync licensing opportunities, and administer copyrights. The system tracks splits, territories, and all registration details.

Revenue splitting is available for Music Groups and Creative Collectives. You can set custom percentages for each member, use equal splits, or create complex distribution rules. The system tracks all revenue sources (streaming, sales, performances) and automatically calculates each member's share. Payments can be scheduled monthly, quarterly, or manually.

Royalties are calculated based on the number of streams, downloads, and overall engagement with your music. We have a transparent payment system that ensures artists get paid fairly for their work. Publishers can track performance royalties, mechanical royalties, and sync fees with detailed reporting.

Artists can upload their music through the Vwaza Studio dashboard. Solo Creators have personal upload access, while group members can upload to their respective groups. The platform supports various audio formats and includes metadata management, artwork upload, and release scheduling features.

Yes, Premium and Artist plan subscribers can download music for offline listening on their mobile devices using our app. Downloaded content remains available for the duration of your subscription.

We accept major credit cards, PayPal, mobile money payments, and various local payment methods depending on your location. Our platform is designed to accommodate African payment systems and international methods.
