FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LILONGWE, MALAWI—In a historic milestone for the continental creative economy, Vwaza Multimedia has officially premiered The Maestros Chords, Malawi’s very first Artificial Intelligence artist, alongside their debut full-length music project, Mama Afrika. The 15-track Afrobeats concept album is now available exclusively for streaming on the Vwaza Music platform.

The premiere represents a massive leap forward in how modern digital tools are transforming the global music industry. It also aligns with Vwaza Multimedia’s efforts of being the absolute frontier of technology and artistic innovation, with the purpose of proving that African platforms are ready to lead, not just follow, the global digital revolution.

About Mama Afrika

Mama Afrika is a 1 hour and 3 minute conceptual masterwork rooted in the principles of Pan-Africanism. It is structurally designed as a five-phase narrative journey that explores the continent's evolution across time.

The album description on Vwaza Music reads: “The project moves through Origins, establishing Africa’s identity, unity, and pre-colonial strength; Disruption, examining historical fracture and external interference; Awakening, reclaiming voice, identity, and collective consciousness; Present, reflecting current realities, challenges, and opportunities; and Future, projecting a renewed vision of unity, leadership, and continental progress.”

It also describes the album as seeking “to celebrate a shared African identity while encouraging unity, collaboration, and collective progress across the continent and the diaspora.”

A Masterclass in Collaborative Tech

"We are not using technology to replace human emotion; we are using it to archive and amplify our collective story," says Dennis Imaan, the Manager of The Maestros Chords. "The Maestros Chords is a vehicle for high-level musical expression, and Mama Afrika is a gift to the continent and the diaspora. It is about ownership, identity, and showcasing that African creatives can command the world's most advanced digital tools to tell our own history, our own way."

True to Vwaza's core philosophy of "Power to the People," this premiere serves as a live, commercial demonstration of how creators can leverage intelligent engines to scale their output and build sustainable digital assets.

"This partnership represents exactly where Vwaza is going," says Thoko Kadewere, Media Relations Officer at Vwaza Multimedia. "Our platform was built to keep the value of African entertainment inside Africa, which is why our infrastructure is designed to give creators absolute control over their narrative and their revenue. For us, Mama Afrika is proof that the future of African music is changing into something futuristic, and being conversant with global standards and developments.
