AI Music Policy

Vwaza welcomes new tools, including artificial intelligence, that help artists create. At the same time, listeners deserve to know how the music they enjoy was made. This AI Music Policy explains what we treat as AI-generated content and your responsibility to disclose it when you upload to Vwaza.

This Policy works alongside our Copyright Policy and Terms of Service. By uploading content to the Platform, you agree to follow it.

1. What Counts as AI-Generated

Content is "AI-generated" when artificial intelligence tools materially produced the audio you upload - not merely assisted with mixing, mastering, or administrative tasks.

This includes, for example:

Tracks where the composition or melody was generated by an AI model
Vocals created or cloned by an AI voice model
Beats or instrumentals generated by an AI music tool
Songs where AI generated a substantial part of the final recording

2. Your Duty to Disclose

When you upload music or a beat that is AI-generated, you must mark it as AI-generated using the disclosure toggle provided in Vwaza Studio at upload time.

Disclosure is mandatory and must be accurate. If a release is partly AI-generated, you must still disclose it. Honest disclosure lets us label content fairly for listeners and protects genuine human creators.

3. Failure to Disclose

3.1 Uploading AI-generated content without disclosing it - or giving false disclosure - is a serious violation of this Policy and may result in:

Removal of the affected content from the Platform
Temporary suspension of your ability to upload
A permanent ban from uploading music on Vwaza for repeated or deliberate violations
Withholding or reversal of related payouts

4. Rights, Ownership, and Responsibility

You remain fully responsible for the content you upload, including AI-generated content. You must hold all necessary rights and must not infringe the copyright, voice, likeness, or other rights of any person.

AI-generated content that imitates a real artist's voice or style without authorization may be removed and may expose you to legal liability.

5. Relationship to the Copyright Policy

This AI Music Policy supplements, and does not replace, our Copyright Policy.
